The Community Map is developed by professionals from Jewish organizations, alumni of the DIRECTORS – Kaplan Fellows @LEATID program of the JDC American Joint Distribution Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Based on an analysis of the Jewish communities of the countries, key questions arose: Do the Jewish professionals and leaders know the community organizations in the region? Do they know the mission of each one? What regional community contribution would generate the synergy between them?
In response, the “Community Map” was created.
“Community Map” is an interactive and collaborative web platform that seeks to bring together the largest number of Jewish organizations in Latin America. This tool for professionals and volunteer leaders is designed to maximize the impact of each organization. Networked, connected, and in collaboration, we seek to strengthen the Jewish community in the region.
